The agriturismo

A traditional manor house of medieval origin, surrounded by woodland and a vineyard dating back to the XIX century. Beside the Stella River, in the park of the same name at the heart of the Friuli springs, the agriturismo stands in a region of great historical and natural importance. The farm mainly rears Noriker horses and racehorses, and is also an educational farm offering activities to discover ancient local history.

In 2015, the agriturismo received, "five daisies"  (similar to hotel stars) from the ERSA for agriturismo hospitality.

The accommodation

On the external walls of the property, you can see Roman remains, and the eastern façade features the crest of the Serenissima, while the inside of the farmhouse is enveloped in warm stone, pebble and brick walls. Guest accommodation is available in traditional, comfortable rooms with bathrooms, internet, TVs and air conditioning.

Breakfast is served in a spacious lounge with a traditional hearth, and you'll also find a tasting room and a cosy lounge with armchairs for relaxing with a book or chatting.

Guests can enjoy carriage tours through beautiful nature, boat trips along the Stella River past Villa Badoglio, Villa Otello and the aquarium of the regional fisheries protection agency, as well as night-time excursions to discover roe deer, herons and other wildlife.

Activities and surrounding

In the  Stella Park, in a zone protected by the European Union, the agriturismo is surrounded by natural riparian woodland, where you can still see the "olle" fountains fed by the area's unique springs.
Behind the house there is also an ancient vineyard, made up of centuries-old native varieties, so unique that it has been the subject of studies and publications.


The village has been a strategic site since Roman times, and many traces of the era still remain. In medieval times it became an imperial island: a small Austro-Hungarian estate within a territory conquered by the Serenissima Republic. The winged lion of the Serenissima is still visible on the farmhouse, a symbol of the agreement reached between the two powers after several centuries of disputes.

Pleased to meet you, I am Cristian and I am 40 years old.

I have been working here for 3 years along with my parents.

As well as we cook for the guests, we take care of the crops, we rear the animals.

It was a desire to to give my children a better life which led me to run an agriturismo.

Our guests especially appreciate the chance to stay in a natural setting.
