The accommodation
The agriturismo is located in the heart of the Veio Natural Park, a few kilometers from Rome. It has a well-equipped horse riding center with riding lessons and an educational farm with activities for children. The estate covers 13 hectares in the Veio Natural Park, 5 minutes from Formello and a few kilometers from Rome and Lake Bracciano. The company is ideal for families and tourists seeking contact with nature and farm animals. It offers an equestrian center with riding school for adults and children, a restaurant with Roman cuisine and a 2-room accommodation that will be extended with another 9 rooms in 2019. The accommodation consists of two rooms, with private bathroom, air conditioning, TV, hairdryer, kettle with tea and herbal teas. One room is a double room with a terrace, the other is a triple room with a double bed (possibility of a third single bed), a small table and a sofa. Breakfast is offered in the room with a carrycot to be consumed in the garden or in the picnic area. Facilities: farm with animals, restaurant with local products, picnic area equipped with barbecue, wood oven, covered terrace with tables and chairs, cheese factory where cheese is produced, outdoor parking. The company is located in the Veio Park, rich in natural beauties and cultural historical sites. It offers the possibility to go hiking, cycling (rentable on reservation) or horseback to the farm museum of Casale 311, along the Via Francigena, to the waterfalls and to the Sanctuary of the Madonna del Sorbo which is one of the four Holy Doors of the Jubilee of Mercy announced by Pope Francis. Educational activities are held for young and old to learn about the work done on the farm: from milking, to harvesting, to harvesting olives, but also lessons on how to make bread, cheese, wine, oil, how to take care of the garden and breeding bees. For lovers of art and archeology, in addition to Rome, in the district there are several places rich in history. The historical centers of Formello, Nepi, Calcata and Bracciano are nice.
