The family run agriturismo La Valle di Vico has been producing hazelnuts and chestnuts for more than 4 generations.The farm's hazelnuts are known as “nocciola romana” (Roman hazelnuts), and they have been awarded the PDO designation, which certifies their high quality.The agriturismo spreads over 3 old farm buildings, once used to store and process farm produce.
Nestled inside the Lago di Vico Nature Reserve, the farm is ideally located just 55 km from Rome and 18 km from Viterbo. It is the perfect base for exploring the beauty of Tuscia and the ancient city of Rome, but also a relaxing oasis surrounded by greenery.
The agriturismo offers guest accommodation in cosy apartments surrounded by over 10,000 m2 of gardens.For the enjoyment of children and adults alike, there is a recreation zone with a swimming pool, three barbecue areas, a play area, bocce and five-a-side football.In this area you’ll also find a gazebo which enjoys spectacular views of the valley, and in summer offers a pleasant shaded area for relaxing in one of the hammocks in perfect tranquillity.
The lake, one of the most beautiful in Central Italy, is renowned for its rich wildlife and is the perfect place to fish for whitefish.Visitors can also enjoy other activities such as canoeing, sailing, trekking, horse riding and mountain biking.
The agriturismo offers tastefully furnished rooms and apartments with independent entrances, lounges with fully-equipped kitchenettes, private bathrooms with showers, heating, satellite TV, free Wi-Fi and bed linen and towels.

The agriturismo is ideal for a relaxing break in total tranquillity, but also for those who love strolling among nature or activities such as horse riding, archery, canoeing or sailing, all available in the immediate vicinity.The lake’s rich fauna also makes it the ideal spot to fish for whitefish.

As well as its green nature, Tuscia is also well known for its cultural richness.The Etruscan necropolises in Tarquinia and Tuscania, Villa Lante in Bagnaia and the Park of the Monsters in Bomarzo are all extremely popular sites.The historic centre of Viterbo, with its medieval quarter, and the nearby villages of Soriano al Cimino, San Martino and Sutri are all very characteristic locations.
