The accommodation
The Rio Coverino farmhouse is located in Civita Castellana, in the province of Viterbo, on the ruins of the ancient potash mine or even better known as the Polveriera. The location has been recently renovated and has two swimming pools: one for children and the other for 18 × 8 meters. of salt water; complete restaurant service and fifteen rooms dedicated to guests' stay. Always attentive to the issues of eco-sustainability, we have reconverted the energy plants by choosing warming with hazelnut shells and installing the photovoltaic system for electricity. The elegant and rustic furnishings of the rooms keep alive the glories of their past, revisiting them in a modern way. Among the services offered in the accommodation: air conditioning, heating, bathroom with shower and the possibility of adding beds for children. For guests who want to enjoy even more tranquility and autonomy has been added a two-story suite with dedicated en suite bathroom. The large common areas allow you to experience the tranquility of the farm within the large living room with fireplace, the ability to access the free wireless network or relax by the pool. For lovers of open spaces it will be possible to immerse yourself in the nature of the large property for naturalistic or archaeological walks.
