Basically beautiful location with view to the sea - Apartment nicely furnished and everything necessary available!
Unfortunately the pool was unusable and obviously nobody took care of it.
Apartment is very steep on foot - if you have children like us, you have to spend a lot of time dragging them, because you can't get there by car.

We spent 4 nights at Le Pale and it was just Wonderful! Yes, there are many steps, but if you are basically able to climb stairs, it is absolutely possible, and SO worth it - the view is amazing! And even though the Pontetto cliff is astoundingly beautiful and the sea crystal clear, it is not absolutely necessary to "go downstairs" every day - the Apartments are fully equipped, the pool area is very nice, the playground for the Kids too, and the restaurant offers delicious Fresh Food at a very reasonable Price! We stayed at the Strelizia Apartment, which is nicely decorated, big enough for 4 and has a cozy, private outdoor Dining table which we used every day for brunch.
Even though there are Stone steps and edges everywhere, we never felt it was unsafe for our Children (6 and 10) , who roamed around the property without Problems.
For those who want to go to Genoa, there´s the Pontetto Train Station close by, which offers several direct Trains to Genoa every day.
Marco and Alessandra are perfect hosts, especially Marco is Always at Hand, he is a very amicable and nice guy, speaks perfect english and has good advice and tips on everything.
If we are in that part of Italy again, we will definitely choose Le Pale again!
PS Greetings to Mimi and "the Phantom" ;)
I went for a dinner with colleagues. Cosy location. We had a great meal. Splendid view of Genoa. Also good for celiacs.
