Activities and surrounding
The Prino Valley, a few km. from the sea, immersed in the vegetation like islands in a sea of olive trees, are the numerous villages and hamlets of Dolcedo, which was already called Villadolce in 1200 and is the most populous nucleus of the valley. It was the ancient seat of the market and still today there are the vestiges of its past with the majestic baroque church of St. Thomas and the Knights of Malta Bridge, the Saracen towers for sighting and defense.
The farmhouse is located near a riding stables and therefore you can take several walks in the hinterland along ancient paths and trails.
The central location of Dolcedo, allows both excursions in the mountains, in the nearby Maritime Alps, reachable in about an hour by car, and to visit the beautiful Ligurian villages such as Cervo, Alassio, Borgio Verezzi, and cities such as Sanremo, Bordighera, Montecarlo and Nice.
