The agriturismo

Secluded within the hills of the gulf of Diano Marina and surrounded by 200 years old olive groves, Borgo Muratori offers an oasis of tranquility few minutes away from the Mediterranean Sea.

The main house was built at the end of the XVI century as a fortress and it was used as a convent and still maintains this name.

Ciliegio, on the first floor, comprises a double bedroom with vaulted ceiling, a small living room with mezzanine for one bed, a kitchen, a bathroom and an open terrace.

Casaemi is on the second floor, it is the main flat of il Borgo (90 m2) in every room you can find vaulted ceilings, the doors date back to the VVIII century. Casaemi comprises a big living room, a double bedroom, a twin bedroom, a well-equipped kitchen, a bathroom with shower. Antique furnishing and gorgeous view.

La Ginestra, on the second floor, comprises a double bedroom, a twin bedroom, a living room with open fire, a kitchen and a bathroom.

Every flat enjoys wonderful views of the sea and have such features as antique furnishing and decorative memorabilia of the Muratorio family.

L’Antico Frantoio Fratelli Muratorio is on the ground floor and forms part of the local history. Recently it has been transformed into a small museum. The tasting of extra virgin olive oil takes place beneath its vaulted ceiling.

The guests of Borgo Muratori will enjoy their meals outside in the garden, sunbathe in secluded corners and relax under the shade of the olive trees.  A small pool (1,50 – 4 m.) is waiting for people who want to relax after a hot day at the beach.

In the more secret area of the garden among the smells of Mediterranean herbs and ancient orange trees, recently an old stone barn has been restored: il Melograno. This small house (50 m2) comprises a well-equipped kitchen, a small living, a bathroom with shower. On the first floor a big double bedroom with open fire, air conditioning and a spectacular view of the sea and the distant horizon from its three windows.
