Excellent stay in this beautiful place. Superb and nicely decorated room. Very good welcome from Barbara, Daniele and the dogs. A hearty and delicious breakfast. Finally, we award Barbara a 5-star cuisine as much for its quality, originality, variety and quantity, we have gained 2 kilos with 4 dinners (lol).

    "Class!"

Nice room, great view, delicious food, nice hosts - complete 10 points! Because this is what makes Agriturismo: Small, fine Agriturimos that live from the personalities of the hosts - who stand behind the idea! Barbara cooks wonderfully. One evening we were even alone - but were royally cooked! A dream! The room is great, nicely decorated, country style. The surroundings: simply breathtaking. Recommendation: Buy the olive oil "ROI" at the end of the village, on the left side. Delicious! Of course I also took a little saffron with me - as close as here, you are nowhere else! The only thing that annoyed a bit was the dogs in the valley (not their own!), Who barked a lot - but the two could not do anything about it. Also to be recommended: Is the small pond to cool down. Romantic and enchanting! We would always like to come back! And the two I can only wish: Keep it up!

We just returned a few days ago from Liguria Italy. Liguria is a fantastic region to explore and having a great holiday there is easy, but the owners of Il Poggio, Barbara and Daniele, made it fantastic. We stayed in the Priscilla room (there are three rooms on offer in total) which is the most romantic room we've ever had the joy of staying in. Beautiful flooring, decoration, a wonderful four-poster bed, and a fantastic bathroom, all kept in great shape. When you get out of bed and open the doors to the balcony and are treated to the beautiful scenery of the Italian countryside, including the little mountain town of Montalto. The agriturismo itsself is decorated with all these little details and it is very fun to explore while staying there. Barbara has a little shop filled with products of their own making and homegrown fruits/vegetables with great flavour (definitely try the watermelon), there is a lookout tower, multiple places to catch some sun and relax (hammocks included) and then I haven't even talked about the food. Barbara is an amazing chef and does wonders with the products they work so hard to grow each year (they are even responsible for bringing saffran back to Triora). If you stay over, I can definitely recommend having dinner there. You will be treated to a meal of several courses where each is more delicious than the last and they have a nice selection of wines to accompany said meal as well. The breakfast always had some level of variety and it was a delight each morning. Both Daniele and Barbara are fantastic people, working very hard at what they do, and the results of that work were unquestionably felt throughout our entire stay there. We were offered some great tips for visits, and after an especially long walk we were treated by Daniele to a large piece of watermelon (you saved our lives Daniele :) In short, if you want to stay in Imperia, you have to pay a visit to this agriturismo, it's not to be missed.

Me and my partner stayed at this beautiful farm last weekend. In February, the area is quiet and beautiful, the fragrant mimosas are in full bloom and it's fascinating to explore the alleyways of the many medieval villages perched on hills that seem to really belong to another time. The farm management is good; Barbara, Daniel and their two very nice dogs, are great to welcome their guests, the rooms are well appointed and very comfortable, breakfast is super (quality and with local products or preparations in a farmhouse). Barbara's cooking is wonderful, just a suggestion: introduce yourself with a lot of space in your stomach because you will go MOOLTO satiated and happy!: D The only known you for the access road a bit 'rustic and dark, but it is a farm and not a 5 star hotel, it's good so because it pays to follow it! I will wholeheartedly recommend, you will not regret.

We were warmly welcomed by Barbara and Daniele. The house is gorgeous in the Valle Argentina and is a good starting point for different trips. The food is fabulous (definitely try the panna cotta di Lavanda and not miss even the barbecue).

    "BEAUTIFUL WEEKEND!"

    03/07/2016

Unfortunately we stayed only one night at the Poggio, but it is a place worth coming back soon. All beautiful, from the location to the hotel - new and furnished with excellent taste - the kindness of the "boys", the genuine dinner, plentiful and cooked with great skill ... We could not find better! Thank you! Margherita Giuliano

    "To dear friend Marò"

    10/12/2015

The place is lovely and the decor recalls the homes of our elderly. The vegetables they bring to mind the houses of vegetables that shopkeepers exposed in front of their shops, when I was a child. The welcome is unique, I have seen Daniel grow in the company of his wonderful family, your smile is a great business card. I suggest you visit this hill and the medieval village considered the architect Stefano Boeri a treasure chest full of meaning, the living room of a community where anything goes, rallies, concerts, exhibitions, but also flowing daily life. A hug from Pina
