Activities and surrounding
The company was born in 1870 when Thomas Rondelli decided to plan the first Rossese vineyards, red DOC grape vines.
Its particularly advantageous position (facing south-east at an altitude of 400 meters) in a zone that already benefits from a mild climate and the nearby sea, allows them to obtain a product of such quality that it justifies the introduction of two other types of vines that are typical of western Liguria: Rlp Vermentino DOC and Rlp Pigato DOC, both white grapes. Along with the vineyards are the olive groves of the aggiasca variety from which an excellent and delicate extra virgin olive oil is obtained, another point of pride for the extreme Western Ligurian area which earned the prestigious Protected Origin Denomination (DOP) from the European Community in 1997.
The company is located in the heart of the Rossese di Dolceacqua production area, the most famous Ligurian red wine of which it is a well-known producer. But the zone is also known for its Pigna beans and Perinaldo artichokes: thus, an essential stop for wine lovers and gourmands. The owners, wine-growers, are passionate about gastronomy and will surely be able to give you advice based on your needs.
