Via Montalbano, 211/213, 19125 La Spezia (La Spezia) Code Cod. CITR 011015 - AGR 0005
On the hills of La Spezia, a few kilometers from the city center and the beautiful villages of the Cinque Terre, lies the farm Cerrolungo, a quiet place to enjoy relaxation.
The structure is an island far from the hustle and bustle, where every day you wake up with the scent of coffee and bread baked in wood, have breakfast in the shade of the old porch and where the day ends with a glass of wine and admiring the sun setting behind the hills.
The farm produces wine, oil, jams and marmalades, preserves, vegetables and herbs. All products can be tasted and purchased on site.
The Cerrolungo holiday farm has recently been restored in the name of family memories dating back to several generations ago.
The rooms are furnished with period furniture and maintain the original finishes: the pleasant rustic decorations with watercolors on ceilings and walls, the typical chestnut or terracotta floors and the typical cementine.
The farm is composed of:
- Villa Maddalena, with three large double bedrooms overlooking the vineyards, two bathrooms, kitchen, living room;
- two double bedrooms with private bathroom;
- a quadruple room with 2 rooms and private bathroom.
The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Each room is equipped with bath/bed linen and in some rooms WiFi is also available.
On the lower floor of the structure there is the tasting room and the cellar, the heart of wine production.
Lunches, dinners and aperitifs are served on request.
The sea and the Cinque Terre can be easily reached from the farm, just 3.5 km (10 minutes by car) from the departure of trains and boats.
To visit: the Gulf of Poets with its enchanting villages (Tellaro, Lerici, Fiascherino, Cadimare, Fezzano and Portovenere), Lunigiana and the famous medieval villages rich in history (Sarzana, Fosdinovo, Castelnuovo Magra), the Apuan Alps and the marble quarries, the Val di Vara, its villages and its bursting nature (Varese Ligure, Brugnato, Pignone, Ponzò).
Genoa, Pisa, Lucca, Florence and Parma are also worth a visit and can be reached in about an hour's drive.
You can also go on excursions along the Alta Via del Golfo and the paths of the Cinque Terre, on foot, on horseback or by mountain bike and practice canyoning or rafting in the river Vara.
For lovers of climbing, the promontory of Muzzerone, overlooking the sea, offers breathtaking views of Portovenere and the coast of Levante Ligure.
