The agriturismo
The agriturismo stands on a hill in the inland between Lerici and the Cinque Terre, on a farm spanning around 7 hectares growing olive trees and vines, near the commune of Vezzano Ligure. The agriturismo is a small hamlet with an eighteenth century main villa, a beautiful frescoed chapel, a traditional olive press, farm buildings and farmhouses dating back to the late 1600s, in which you will find the guest apartments.
The accommodation
In various sizes, and created with respect for the original structure and rural tradition, the 4 guest apartments feature colourful external walls and simple, refined furnishings. Each one is named after a typical local vine and all apartments include their own private outdoor space:
Albarola: this ground floor apartment comprises a kitchen with open fireplace, a bathroom with shower, one twin (or single) room and one double room. It also boasts independent heating, wooden flooring and a small veranda sheltered by an ancient wisteria which flowers in spring.
Malvasia: on two levels, the ground floor of this apartment comprises the kitchen and entrance hall with utility space, while on the first floor you'll find 2 double bedrooms and a bathroom with shower. Malvasia also features independent heating and an elegant gazebo outside the kitchen for dining outdoors.
Merla: on two levels, with the kitchen and entrance hall with utility space on the ground floor, and 2 double bedrooms and a bathroom with shower on the first floor. This secluded apartment also features an entrance hall and lounge area and private outdoor space, perfect for keeping cool in summer.
Vermentino: also on two levels, this apartment is heated by two wood burning stoves; on the ground floor you’ll find a spacious kitchen with hearth, a double bedroom, a terrace with a small outside bathroom with shower, an entrance hall and utility space. On the first floor there are 2 double bedrooms (one with extra bed), a bathroom with bath and a small lounge. The adjoining pergola is ideal for dining outdoors.
