The agriturismo
We are only 8 minutes far by walk from Levanto train station and 15 minutes away from Levanto city center.
The villa with its seventeenth century loggia, large hall and garden is a luxury residence with an atmosphere of bygone times. The olive grove and rose gardens, the vineyard, the prickly pear and apricot plantation that give the agriturismo its name ( L'Amandola) surround the estate creating interesting trails and corners for relaxation.
The outdoor Pool offers a fine view of Levanto and the sea.
The accommodation
The villa opens up with an elegant hall with sofas, slate floor, stone fireplace and high vaulted ceiling for the use of guests. The bedrooms complete with bathroom are furnished with period pieces and distinguished by their collection of paintings, boudoir porcelain and floors in wood and terracotta. The Junior suite on the ground floor has a private entrance, stone fireplace, sofas, four-poster bed and high windows in old vaults.
The garden is home to rose bushes and old earthenware pots, aromatic herbs, Mediterranean shrubs and a highly modern whirlpool tub.
The buffetbreakfast offers homemade cakes and sweets, marmalades and jams made with apricots and roses from the farm, as well as fresh seasonal fruit and oil. Guests may avail of the private car park, bicycle shed, free Wi-Fi free throughout the facility. Baggage transfer on request.
Activities and surrounding
From the train station a just 3 minutes away, guests can easily reach the Cinque Terre park with its with its splendid villages, Portofino and the Gulf of Tigullio, Genoa with its Aquarium and the old city centre. Pisa is one hour’s train ride away
The Cinque Terre, Portovenere and its islands, Lerici and San Fruttuoso, Camogli and Portofino can be reached by ferry. Plenty of recreation options also for hiking, mountain biking and scuba diving enthusiasts.
