The agriturismo
Just outside Mantua, Agriturismo Corte Cascina is a traditional 1700s country house, renovated with respect for the original architecture, with ancient wooden beams and period furniture.
The agriturismo is nestled in the green plain close to the river Po, in the commune of Borgo Virgilio, rich in history, from the eighteenth-century military fort to the parish churches full of paintings.
The accommodation
Guest accommodation is available in two twin rooms with the option to add a child's bed, and two apartments.
Stanza delle Lune is a twin room with period furniture, and perfectly preserved original floors and ceiling. Bed with orthopaedic mattress, bathroom with bath.
Stanza dei Soli is a bright and airy twin room overlooking the grounds, with Art Deco furniture. This room shares a bathroom with another room on the same floor.
The 100 square metre apartments each accommodate up to four guests.
