The agriturismo
Framed by the stunning landscape of the Garda Morainal Hills, the agriturismo is located in Monzambano, an historic Mantua town, rich in nature, where the Mincio river passes, flanked by a handy cycle track which links the nearby Lake Garda to Mantua. Corte di Tosina boasts 25,000 m2 of green grounds, which end with a small wood.
The accommodation
The agriturismo is newly constructed, but perfectly integrated into its surroundings: traditional brick pillars and arches on the outside, and stone and exposed beams on the inside. The property is surrounded by large willows, rose bushes and oleanders and a natural stream runs nearby. The courtyard is bordered by apartments, porticos and walls, and at its centre stands a well covered with flowers, surrounded by tables for breakfast.
In addition to underfloor heating/cooling systems, the accommodation also boasts bathrooms with large showers built into niches and decorated with stones, marble and mosaics, and in the apartments, wrought iron beds and lounge-kitchens with induction hobs. All rooms and apartments have independent entrances and their own bathrooms.
The 4 guest rooms are spacious, illuminated by large windows and connected in two sets of two by an adjoining door. The 2 ground floor apartments each feature a lounge-kitchen with sofa bed for 2, and one bedroom with stone or glass mosaic headboard. A further 3 apartments are available on the first floor: the first offers a sofa bed for 2 in the lounge and a mezzanine bedroom. The second is an open space with kitchen, table and sleeping area, plus an additional bedroom on the mezzanine level with mansard roof. The third, larger apartment features a sofa bed and bedroom.
The breakfast room is under a glass portico, with an antique piano available to those who like to play. The buffet breakfast includes delicious homemade flans, jams and biscotti.
