The agriturismo
In the South Milan Rural Park, in the historic town of Basiglio, just 5 km from Milan, a typical 1600s farmhouse, recently renovated to offer a holiday nestled in greenery, in an oasis of relaxation. You’ll find a swimming pool, horse riding lessons and organic farm produce for sale (honey, rice, jams, seasonal fruit and vegetables), as well as much, much more.
The farm spreads over around 30 hectares, in a region which boasts over a century of rice growing tradition.
The accommodation
The 8 independent twin rooms (approximately 25 m2) feature high quality materials and attention to detail. In each one you’ll find a private bathroom with shower, hairdryer and windows with views, air conditioning, 22” LED TV, a corner with table and chairs, breakfast-making facilities, an 80 litre fridge-freezer, a sink and a kettle. One room is equipped to accommodate disabled guests.
Facilities include Wi-Fi, ample private parking, a swimming pool nestled in greenery with a solarium and pergola, ping pong and a lawned area with toys. In the well-equipped riding centre with covered manège (70x30m), jumping field, stables and paddock, you can enjoy individual and group lessons.
