The accommodation
Cą Mimia is a farm located in the heart of the Alto Monferrato in an uncontaminated natural environment, between the valleys of Piota and the Orba, about an hour away from Genoa, Milan and Turin. The house, surrounded by vineyards and meadows, has a swimming pool overlooking the Piota valley, the vineyards and the typical gullies. The farmhouse, an eighteenth-century building, was restored 10 years ago, aiming to respect the original architectural features and the balance with the surrounding environment. The cellar below the house is carved into the tufa and characterized by brick vaults. It is surrounded by vineyards that are cultivated by hand with biological criteria, without herbicides or pesticides. The wine is produced with natural criteria and the company includes a small rearing of hens left free in the meadows. In addition to wine, on the premises are produced fruit preserves, rose syrup, tomato sauce, spicy mustards. The restaurant, inaugurated in 2015, is open in the spring and summer season all Saturday evening and Sunday mornings, and in other periods, especially in autumn, with theme nights. Typical local cuisine, seasonal menus with ingredients from the vegetable garden and the farm orchard.
