The agriturismo
The agriturismo is the result of the renovation of a historic farmhouse nestled in the greenery of the unspoilt, peaceful valley in the district of Rocca Grimalda, 10 minutes from the Ovada motorway junction.
Family-run, it offers a gourmet holiday to discover the flavours of tradition and the Piedmont countryside and boasts the title "Italian Hospitality", which marks the best agriturismos in the province of Alessandria.
The accommodation
The agriturismo offers a restaurant for a limited number of guests, with interesting family cooking with its roots in the traditions ofPiedmont,Liguria andTuscany.
The building stands out for the special care taken with the interiors, where materials respect tradition: wood, stone and wrought iron are combined with contemporary fabrics and colours. The rooms, painted with natural products, earth and lime as in the past, have names that characterise them individually:
- the Camera della Nonna (Grandma’s Room) is furnished with skilfully restored traditional furniture (an extra bed can be added) and has an en-suite bathroom;
- the Camera dell'Arco either with a small living room or a quadruple; it has an en-suite bathroom;
- the Camera Azzurra (Blue Room) and the Camera delle Mongolfiere (Hot Air Balloon Room), adjacent and spacious (an extra bed can be added), share a bathroom, in an annexe with private access.
Guests can buy the wines and jams produced on the farm.
