The agriturismo
The farmhouse, surrounded by green hills and vineyards of UNESCO, offers the tranquility for those fleeing from the city and local products to taste in a drink or a meal at our restaurant. Renovated in 2005 by a former stable, it is in rustic style with warm colors, distinctive and rich.
The accommodation
Located on top of the Langhe Astigiane hills, the farmhouse overlooks them, capturing their beauty and tranquility. The farmhouse was born in 2005, alongside the production of local wines with the thirty-year running of the Mazzolo family.
In 2008, our restaurant, based on typical Piedmontese cuisine, also suits vegetarian and vegan cuisine, where you can taste, along with homemade recipes, the company's wines, such as Nebbiolo, Barbera d'Asti and Moscato d' Asti. There are 8 en suite rooms, all equipped with a hairdryer, courtesy set, TV and air conditioning. From the terrace with communal entrance, you can enjoy the vineyards' view of the colors that the seasons give us. The large courtyard is suitable for walking around with your dog or lying on the terrace for an aperitif and taking some photos.
Our hills are suitable for long walks in the green, on foot or by bike, and can be reached to the Contini Tower or to Stra de la Sternia, dominated by Castello Gancia.
We are 5 km from Canelli, 20 km from Asti, and 40 km from Alba and Alessandria.
Activities and surrounding
Guests can take advantage of the quiet to relax in the hammock or play a game of cards with friends. For sports enthusiasts, there are many roads to travel on foot or by bike and enjoy the views that give us the hills throughout the year, close to us the baroque of Contini tower, which dominates the panorama. Surely whoever comes to Canelli, can not go to the 'cathedrals' underground, 4 km long tunnel cellars and tunnels dug directly into the tufa of the hills, where you can take guided tours and tastings. A return to the Middle Ages for those who want to take the "Stra d'la Sternia", the ancient and steep road paved with cobblestone walls, begins in the village of Villanuova dominated by the Castello Gancia, near the church of San Leonardo, and ends in square of the baroque churches of San Rocco and St. Thomas. To visit the beautiful and historic towns of Asti, Alba and Alexandria that away from us by car from 20 to 40 km.
