Farmhouse with a family-run farm. The farm has three rooms and its activities alongside that of organic and local food restaurant. Nestled in the woods of Val Sessera, with panoramic views of the valley and just a few kilometers from the natural oasis Zegna and the ski resort of Bielmonte, the agriturismo is an ideal place to enjoy a peaceful holiday and to discover the natural beauty and artistic treasures of the area of Biella. An ideal starting point for discovering the wine tasting tours that the area offers or to experience cycling along the various paths in the area.
The accommodation
We wait for you in our farm with family-run farmhouse. The farmhouse has three rooms and beside its work there's the restaurant, with its natural, homemade and traditional cuisine, managed by the owners.
Nestled in the woods of Sessera Valley, with panoramic views of the valley and just a few kilometers from the nature of Oasi Zegna and the ski resort of Bielmonte, the farmhouse is an ideal place to enjoy a peaceful holiday and discover the natural beauty and artistic treasures of the area of Biella.
NB: The farm is not served by public transport and can be reached from the town of Portula along a stretch of dirt road that leads through the woods until the farm. It is therefore advised to arrive with your own transport. Possibility of transfer to and from Biella station (price to be agreed).
Activities and surrounding
Located a few kilometers from the natural Oasi Zegna, the farmhouse provides an ideal starting point for the various initiatives that are seasonally organized on the territory; in the Oasis area it are in fact organized tours, Nordic Walking, thematic routes, astronomical observations, ski trips, days characterized by health on bioenergy paths and initiatives for children. In spring the excursions on the trail of rhododendrons are a sight not to be missed, while in winter the nearby ski resort of Bielmonte become the reference point for ski enthusiasts. There are various sporting activities that can be practiced in the area: still within the area of the Oasis is the Enduro Bike Park; 20 minutes by car you can reach the path Bungee Center in Veglio. Nestled in the middle of a walkway leading to the nearest towns is the ideal starting point for those who love spending time outdoors. A few kilometers away there are several places of cultural interest: - Sacred Mount of Varallo. - Natural Park Delmonte Fenera - Sanctuary of the Heath - Via Gold - Road Novareia Sanctuary - Sanctuary of the Cavallero - Sanctuary of St. John of Andorno.
