The agriturismo
The accommodation consists of 4 independent apartments, as well as three autonomous and independent rooms, each with a different bathroom and panoramic balcony. All rooms are equipped and finely furnished, composed of kitchen-living room, bedroom, bathroom, large balconies to the south, local municipalities for services and storage, green area, small garden. The entire Valle Maira is an area of great cultural value, nature and ethnic. Our restaurant is family-run and friendly , based principally on typical, local dishes, produce and specialities, remarkable for their simplicity, goodness and authenticity. We are in Morinesio ? Municipality of Stroppo ? (Cuneo) at roughly 1,500 metres a.s.l. in a splendid, sunny position, on the slopes of Mount Nebin; a natural belvedere with a spectacular view over the Cottian Alps.
Morinesio is a charming, little hamlet with houses of stone and wood and unpaved lanes.
Typical and authentic constructions in the Occitan/provençal alpine architectural style built in the course of the 18th century, refurbished in strict respect of local tradition, through the exclusive use of natural materials (stone and wood) and eco-friendly (oil-based paints; sound and thermal insulants derived from wood).
We think that our farmhouse is harmony and flavours of the Occitan and Provencal mountains: natural environment, unspoilt setting, characteristic culture and local traditions.
Nature represents the fundamental excellence of the area; the culture (architecture, language, painting) a formidable testimony to the local alpine civilization.
