The Azienda Agricola Altalanga is one of the main biological realities of the area, one of the few, for the moment, to conduct this type of organic farming for the Piedmont hazelnut IGP.
Our country house in Langa stone is located in Cerretto Langhe in a clearing between woods, truffles, hazelnut and aromatic herbs. It is surrounded by a vast natural park and cultivated fields. It enjoys a spectacular view of the Langhe from Serralunga d'Alba to Monforte, from the hills of Sinio to those of Castiglione Falletto. In the immediate vicinity of the house there is a fenced-in truffle farm of about 3,000 square meters, a vegetable garden of about 2,000 square meters and the relaxation area surrounded by forest, where it is not uncommon to meet roe deer and woodland animals that drink.
THE HOUSE
The structure is equipped with every comfort, rustic furniture of value, jacuzzi pool with solarium, outdoor terrace, barbecue and children's play area inside the park.
The farmhouse is spread over 2 floors. On the ground floor there is a large kitchen in masonry, equipped with every comfort: large dining table, wood stove, electric oven, microwave, crockery and pots and pans, dishwasher for 12 place settings, Nespresso coffee machine. Next to the kitchen, there is a cozy living room with large sliding glass window overlooking the garden, antique furniture, 3-seater sofa convertible into a double bed and a characteristic ceiling with wooden beams. In addition, various seats including a pouf that can be converted into a single bed. On the ground floor there is a first bathroom, equipped with washbasin, toilet, shower and easily accessible from the garden.
On the first floor, there is a double bedroom with canopy bed and windows overlooking the garden. A second bedroom with 2 single wrought iron beds. Both rooms have period furnishings and precious bedspreads and curtains. Next to the bedrooms there are two large and bright bathrooms, one of which has a very modern shower.
Activities and surrounding
Our farm, located in the municipality of Cerretto Langhe, Frazione Cerretta and Pedaggera, is about 10 km from the hills of Barolo, 18 km from Alba and about 80 km from Savona and belongs to the Mountain Community of Alta Langa.
The Alta Langa is a suggestive place, full of the unique and inimitable charm of the "middle ground". On the one hand, the mild, sunny and windy climate of Liguria, with lush and unspoilt vegetation. On the other hand, the wild beauty of its centuries-old woods and valleys, the isolated and mysterious hills, the paths that run in spelonche crossed by streams of clear water.
Always considered an important junction of communication between the coast, the plain and the alpine valleys, the Alta Langa became the seat of castles and fortifications, still visible today in the medieval fabric of its villages and in the strongholds that dot the highest hills.
Living the Alta Langa means looking for an experience of relaxation and immersion in nature, without giving up the pleasures of good food and events that animate the Piedmont of wine.

Our Truffle House, recently restored and brought to its ancient natural splendour, has been prepared with symbiotic plants, mycorrhized to encourage the development of the white and black truffle. This makes it an even more interesting place, which goes beyond just searching for and collecting truffles.
