The agriturismo

Langhe Bricchetto Cascina is in a strategic position: in the center of the Langhe it is only a few kilometers to reach all the most popular and romantic places, and even the wildest (there are), enjoying spectacular views! In the evening sunset flashes in the Monviso and floods the Alps of bright colors, you can "dive" in the outside situation sitting comfortably in the armchair or eating ... eg the product of the barbecue, it is as possible from the inside of the houses thanks to large and numerous windows. The houses, different from each other, are both structurally and dÚcorously furnished, offering a luxurious stay and the amenities offered have nothing to envy in luxury hotels.

The accommodation

The structure built in Langa stone, is perhaps the oldest in the country, is located at the top of a hill, 550 m, about 10 km from Alba "capital of the Langhe" and 3 km from Barbaresco The view is wonderful, a series of undulating hills up to the Maritime Alps, on the front of the house dominates the Monviso and the back of the group of Rosa You can alternate quiet days on the equipped meadows with visits to the nearby towns of Bra - Asti - Cherasco, or to the many castles that can be visited in the surroundings, such as Barolo, Grinzane Cavour, Govone, Magliano Alfieri, as well as to the various museums and colourful markets The houses are the result of recent renovation, have been saved the typical structures such as the "vaults" of exposed brick and used natural materials and typical. The houses are in the central body of the farmhouse, completely independent and spread over two floors The CÓ dra Topia (150 sqm) consists of: large living room with kitchenette, a double bedroom and a bathroom on the first floor, two large bedrooms (you can insert an extra bed) with private bathroom, long balcony upstairs CÓ der Forn (100 sqm) consists of: large living room on two levels, kitchen, bathroom on the ground floor, two large bedrooms, large bathroom, corridor and balcony on the first floor. Quality Certification issued by Italian Hospitality. Our breakfast is rich, offering local products made according to ancient recipes, also appreciated by Slow Food that has included us in the guide "Inns of Italy". At guests' disposal: internet access inside and outside the houses, garage, covered terraces furnished with wooden furniture, barbecue, children's play area, equipped gardens and, upon agreement, fruit and vegetables of our production.

Activities and surrounding

Things to see in the surroundings Alba "Langhe Capital" is nearby, the historic center is characterized by the medieval towers and porticoes, the "Via Maestra" has a successful architectural amalgam and many typical shops (it is the "sting" street). Many events are organized during the year, some of which are exclusively cultural such as AlbaFilmFestival and AlbaMusica, others combining the delights of the area with folklore-cultural-traditional aspects. Residences of Savoy: the furthest Venaria Castle at about 80 km. The closest ones are the castles of Magliano Alfieri and Govone, passing through Barolo - Verduno - Santa Vittoria? Serralunga- Fontanafredda. Wineries The closest to 3 km and the furthest to 25. I always say to our guests: "if you want to understand a little about this territory and its people you have to visit some cellar", speaking with the producers and tasting their products (we are talking about Barolo, Barbaresco, Barbera, Dolcetto, Muscat d'Asti, Arneis, Freisa ...) you will do something special to bring with you ... Of course you need to make an appointment. Asti-Bra-Cherasco Between 25 and 35 km these small ancient cities all have an architecturally diverse but equally interesting historic center, ancient churches, colorful markets, gastronomic excellence ... and more to discover. Turin Historical center: Royal Palace and Gardens, Piazza San Carlo, Via Po, Via Roma, palaces and beautiful streets, ancient "CaffŔ", I remember it was the first capital of Italy (1861). Museums: Egyptian (2nd in the land and 1st in Cairo), Royal Palace with original furnishings, Armeria of the Royal Palace, ancient and modern art, Cinema placed in the wonder that is the Mole Antonelliana, Palazzo Carignano home of the first Parliament ... Shopping: from chocolate ... to jewels.

    "Repeat Visit"

    12/15/2017

Having spent a wonderful week at the Bread Oven House last year, we returned this year for the same period. It was as fabulous as we remembered it to be. Giovanna again had two bottles of wine to welcome us, and we loved them both. Giovanna also still had fruit and nuts from her own trees, and a pantry stocked with the basics. We love coming here because it truly is like a home away from home for us. The house has everything you need for your stay and you don't have to waste time, money and effort trying to get the numerous small necessities that are expensive and inconvenient to get in small quantities. Giovanna is at your disposal to arrange any activity that you wish to partake in around the area and to give you advice. We will return again next year for our annual trip. We hope this place and Giovanna never change so we can come back year after year for a long time.

    "Our Stay at Cascina Bricchetto"

    12/15/2017

Our group of five stayed at Cascina Bricchetto, in the Grape Pergola House, from September 19 to 25, 2017 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We found the bedrooms to be spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated with antique furniture.
We made good use of the well-equipped kitchen.

The house is situated on a high hill, with an excellent view of the Piemonte region and the Alps beyond. While the house is in the country, it is close to several small towns which enabled us to easily shop for groceries. As well, it is within a reasonable driving distance to several of the more remarkable towns of the region such as Asti, Alba, Bra, Acqui Terme, and many of the wine-related villages (Barolo, Barbaresco and Neive).

We found Giovanna to be an extremely welcoming and helpful host. It is obvious that she knows and loves the region well. She will arrange visits to local wineries and other activities of interest.

We highly recommend the house, and would gladly return if we were in the region again.
