Via Brard, 58 , San Giovenale 12016 Peveragno (Cuneo)
In Peveragno, around 10 km from Cuneo and 30 km from the Mondovì motorway toll exit, the agriturismo is located on land filled with lawns, chestnut woods and fields of strawberries and other fruits.
Guests can enjoy typical Piedmont cuisine, with local dishes prepared in a wood burning oven using ingredients produced on the farm itself.
The agriturismo owes its name to a combination of two typical features of the region: the spectacular views of Bisalta, the mountain which symbolises Cuneo, which can be seen in full on sunny days, and whose peaks are hidden in winter; and the numerous “ciabots” (traditional houses) seen on strolling through the hills, and which give their name to the 4 guest rooms. Spacious and comfortable, with wooden beams, these rooms are all traditionally furnished.
The cuisine is all homemade and typical of the Piedmont region, prepared using seasonal, zero mile ingredients, many of which are produced on the farm itself: from ravioli to homemade “Tajarin” pasta, appetizers with vegetables, meat roasted in the wood burning oven, cheeses produced and matured in Alpine huts, homemade bread, and wine from the farm itself or from the nearby Langhe area.
