The agriturismo
In our farm we produce raw milk cheeses, without the use of ferments. The only ingredients are milk, rennet and salt. What milk? The sheep and goats graze from spring to autumn, the cheeses have different taste and appearance, depending on the grasses of the pastures and the season. They are the protagonists of breakfast, from the stub, a fresh lactic curd, with a slightly acidic flavor to sheep robiola, goat's milk and matured with an intense flavor. But breakfast is not just cheese: homemade cakes with seasonal fruit and jams, juices, bread and biscuits from local artisans. In the educational farm we organize workshops to learn how to make cheese and guided tastings of our cheeses, with a good glass of natural wine!
The accommodation
We are Alessandro and Arianna and we have an organic farm where we raise the sheep of the Langhe, an ancient breed in danger of extinction and the camosciate goats. We produce raw milk cheeses in the small dairy farm. Our farmhouse is surrounded by nature, around us chestnut trees, birches, oaks and other wonders: the upper Langa is still unspoiled. In the educational farm, we organize cheese tastings and workshops for children and adults. We have two charming and evocative rooms - La stanza della maestra and Il granio - furnished with recycled materials and old readjusted objects. The old molds of the pudding that become chandeliers, the doors of the farmhouse refurbished and colored with our hands, furniture that comes from the old windows. Here you will feel at home, under the banner of slow life and relaxation. You can make beautiful hiking on well-marked trails and little beaten, from the Belbo valley to the langhe of great wines. Or discover these places by bike, pedal assist or mountain bike.
