Parco delle Rocche Tenuta Vareglio, 12043 Canale (Cuneo)
The agriturismo is an old farmstead dating back to the late 17th century, extremely typical and nestled amidst the green of the famous wine producing zone of the Langhe and Roero.
This facility is also located in the Parco delle Rocche, a protected natural reserve crossed by numerous hiking and cycling tracks.
The swimming pool and the large solarium offer scenic views over the valley.
The old farmstead, nestled amidst the 30 ha of green parkland, was renovated in 2004 to accommodate an agriturismo with swimming pool and a restaurant. The original architectural elements typical of the Langhe and Roero zone were retained.
The agriturismo has 15 rooms endowed with plenty of comforts and including summer and winter climate control, hairdryers, phone and internet connection, bar fridge, safety deposit box and TV. The rooms are personalised with original paintings and furnishings.
The junior suite, suite and suite executive all have a large day zone, composed of a living area and a kitchen nook. Guests can enjoy the fantastic view from the large windows. A ground floor room is set up to accommodated a disabled person.
Breakfast is served in the restaurant or on the outdoor patio offering typical Italian fare: fresh bread biscuits straight from the oven, marmalades and jams, yoghurt, seasonal fruit, local cheeses and cured meats. The facility has a private parking area. The restaurant proposes the finest traditional Piedmont cuisine, superbly reinterpreted in a modern style.
The canteen is excavated in the tuff and contains numerous native wine labels from the Langhe and Roero zone. Pool and solarium available for guests.
On the estate itself there are 5 km of tracks: guests can venture into the woods, the fields and the vineyards on foot or by bike. The park is home to the animals: poultry, kids, ostriches and horses – a long-standing main attraction for children and adults.
The agriturismo is located in the famous Piedmont zone of the Langhe and Roero. Guests can try out the local products of the Langhe and explore the pristine nature of the zones of Roero, with its characteristic Rocche – deep chasms carved out by erosion of the Tanaro river.
Apart from the Tartufo Bianco D'Alba (white truffle of Alba), it is possible to discover the goodness of homemade cheese, chocolate and other sweet and wine specialities.
We recommend hiking along the tracks, through the woods and over the hills covered in vineyards; sports and nature enthusiasts can take their pick of trekking, cycling, motorbike riding.
The agritourism offers the possibility of riding a horse through the beautiful landscapes and hills of the estate (valid on request for people already experienced). Instead, for children or for beginners, you can take a ride in the handling accompanied by an expert (on request).

They tell us that perfection is not "human" perhaps those who say it is right, but what I found at this farm, I would not know how to define it otherwise, perfect. Thing ? Everything ..... the location, the beautiful room, the pool, the park, dinner, breakfast, a special praise to all the staff, without exception. Stop? No, also I put a great peace, silence, relaxing, all at a price that is underestimated, compared to what you receive. Those who said that there is no perfection ???
