via alla Rocca, 4 -, Briona 28072 Briona (Novara)
The Briona Castle stands out in the verdant woods on the first hills on the way from Novara to Valsesia. The castle tower looks over the tiny village of Briona and its rice plantations, a typical feature of the Novara plains. Once a defending fort, however as early as the beginning of the XVIcentury it lost its role of stronghold to become a “residence”, and than the farm we can see nowaday.
The Castle's Farm House has lodging facilities. Part of the XIX century Farm House has been restored and made to cater for the guests. It offers 4 small apartments and a room with two beds: L'Acero, Il Castagno, Il Ciliegio, La Robinia e La Quercia. All rooms look onto the castle and open onto the courtyard and lawns, for the guests' pleasure. Internet wireless connection in every room.
