The agriturismo

The Burki farm was founded with the aim of carrying on the family's agro-pastoral tradition, which since the end of the 19th century has been mountaineering the Burki Alp in Macugnaga, at the foot of Monte Rosa.

 

The company includes a breeding of red pezzate. There is no shortage of pigs, chickens and bees: among the farm products we find sausages, eggs and honeys, meat, ricotta cheese, butter and yoghurt. From summer 2015, with the creation of a dairy in the mountains, begins the production of cheeses using the fragrant and rich milk that our cows in the mountains can give.

 

The alp can be reached by chairlift and is open both in summer and winter.
