The agriturismo
The Farmhouse is located in the Gallura area. It is a typical Stazzo (Farm) with 150 hectares of land immersed in the Gallurese countryside. The ancient residence, built back in the 1840, is now surrounded by the new chalets and guest rooms.
Tenuta Pilastru is in the area of the most renowned and appreciated archeological sites of the northern Sardinia and it is surrounded by the granite cavern (Conche). Although The Tenuta is located in the natural countryside scenario, it is also at only 12 Km from the sea and about 15/20 minutes by car from the Costa Smeralda resort.
The accommodation
The Agriturismo offers a total of 32 guest rooms partially positioned in the Main House, called "Lu Pastrucciali" and in the Old House, which originally was the landlords residence. The remaining guest rooms, all located within 80 meters from the Main House, are obtained from the chalets, entirely realized at ground level, which recall the building style of the "Stazzo Gallurese". All the structure is immersed in the natural scenery between centennial oaks trees, wild olive trees, junipers and the local flora.
"Lu Pastrucciali" (the Main House), with two floors and a central patio, hosts the reception, the lobby and 9 guest rooms. The remaining 23 guest rooms are situated in the chalets which have been called Casa Ecchja, Olivastro, Lentischio, Ginepro and in the two suites, Mirto and Quercia, with their private living room and kitchenette.
The 32 guest rooms, all spacious and airy, entirely decorated in a perfect country style, feature natural product such as terracotta, timber, cotton and linen, fine materials and fabrics and are all equipped with cooling and heating systems, satellite colour TV, direct dial telephones, minibar, private bathrooms with shower and/or bathtub and hairdryer.
In a separate building, surrounded by the natural granite caverns (Conche), the restaurant offers a wide selection of local typical dishes. The meat and the wine comes directly from the own produce and the genuine home made pasta is prepared according to the traditional recipes.
In their free time the guest may choose between a dive in the swimming pool, surrounded by the trees and the granite rocks, decide for a relaxing excursion by foot or by bicycle or go for trekking.
