In Castiglione di Sicilia, in the heart of the Etna Park, the estate "A Barunissa" resides in a characteristic forest of chestnut and pine trees. From the renovation of the manor house and warehouses for tools, the farm was born, with its bright and welcoming rooms and a breakfast room created in the ancient millstone, all surrounded by lush nature, far from the noise of the city. The guest rooms are furnished with wooden furniture and equipped with private bathroom with hairdryer, fridge, safe and TV. The ancient palmento, which houses the reception and the dining room where a varied and tasty breakfast is served, has been carefully restored to preserve the rooms and tools of the past (the press, the vats, etc.). It is possible to organize visits in the surroundings that are particularly suggestive for excursions on foot, by mountain-bike or on horseback. During the summer the staff organizes tours of the Protected Marine Area "Isole Ciclopi" of Acitrezza, to be inspired by the places of "I Malavoglia" by Giovanni Verga and admire the Faraglioni and Isola Lachea. The estate overlooks the Nebrodi Park and a few minutes from the Alcantara River Park. Within a few kilometers, you will find Randazzo, Castiglione di Sicilia, the sea of ??Taormina (20 km away) and the tourist port of Riposto (30 km away). For lovers of winter sports, the Piano Provenzano ski facilities are 15 km away.
