The agriturismo

Agri-Camping Parco rurale Schifaldi is located in Caltagirone, at the foot of Mount Scala. immersed in the green Mediterranean scrub. It offers services for every need and suitable for all ages.

The park stands on what until a few centuries ago was a fief of Marquis Schifaldi, who lived between the 1700s and 1800s.
In fact, the road (contrada Schifaldi) and the park itself (Schifaldi Rural Park) are dedicated to him. For about a century now, the park has been in the hands of the Arcieri family, which has made it an 'agritourism business.

It has one room, Uncle Paolo 's lodging, and a Caravan, a lodging instead that is more "spartan" and has outside services, those of Agricamping.

The accommodation

The facility consists of five sites used for RV and tent camping, each 50 square meters in size.

In addition, it has several facilities including: children's area, food courts, scout pitches , and biking trails.

Restrooms include: laundry, toilets and showers.

Schifaldi Rural Park offersfacilities for every need and suitable for all ages. It has achildren's area for families with children, variousoutdoor games for groups of youngsters who want to have fun, miniature golf, a multipurpose field, abarbecue area for large families who want to enjoy a day immersed in nature, as well astrails for cycling enthusiasts.

One night in Roulotte - While travelling the inland of Sicily, we spent one night in Parco Rurale Schifaldi. Coming from Caltagirone and heading to Enna. We were happy with our choice. The hosts were very welcoming, the bed very comfortable and the bathrooms clean! Read more
