The agriturismo
Farmhouse nestled in one of the most picturesque rural areas of Chiaramonte Gulfi, a small hill town in the province of Ragusa. It rises about 430 m above sea level and is located near the pine forest of the Monti Iblei famous for trekking walks. The farmhouse is surrounded by lemon trees, almond trees, olive groves and vineyards, bordered by the characteristic dry stone walls typical of this corner of Sicily.
Guests have at their disposal an infinity pool with Jacuzzi, barbecue, stone oven, ample indoor parking and mountain bikes to explore the surroundings. The farm produces renowned varieties of almonds from which we prepare cookies and almond milk.
We organize tastings and courses in the preparation of typical Sicilian products.
The accommodation
Guests can choose to stay in the villa for exclusive use or in individual accommodations equipped with kitchens and every comfort.
The facility consists of five bright and cozy cottages (50 to 100 square meters) equipped with air conditioning, Wi-Fi, satellite TV, hairdryers, four-burner scavolini kitchens fully equipped with plates, glasses, cups, cups, cutlery, pots, coffee pots, cutting boards, refrigerator-freezers (Electrolux, 240-liter, class A), one-well drip sinks and large countertops.
The interior of each cottage consists of several rooms: kitchen and living room (in one space or two separate spaces) with sofa bed (one and a half), double bedroom (one or two, depending on the size of the cottage), and bathroom with glass shower stall. All the cottages have an elegant handcrafted wooden staircase with wrought-iron railing that leads to a loft where a romantic double bedroom with parquet flooring is located. One of the cottages is entirely dedicated to the disabled.
The windows all have an enchanting view of the chiaramontana countryside, which is very characteristic because it is rich in almond orchards and centuries-old olive groves and decorated by picturesque dry stone walls.
The names of the cottages represent the aromatic herbs most present in the Sicilian territory: Caper, Saffron, Thyme, Sage and Oregano.
