The agriturismo
Terramater is a small family-run farmhouse, 5km from Noto. We have restructured a country house obtaining comfortable rooms and a hall for breakfasts and to spend free time.
Our rooms have been recovered from buildings surplus to the productive activity of a small farm. Stables, barns and warehouses have been transformed into comfortable rooms equipped with all the services and amenities necessary for an optimal and relaxing stay.
The accommodation
Our rooms were recovered from excess production buildings of a small farm. Stables barns and warehouses have been converted into cosy rooms equipped with all the comforts and facilities you need in a restful and relaxing. The rooms overlook the countryside and are surrounded by trees, overlooking the pool with panoramic view over the Valley of the river Gioi, or the iblean plateau. The furnishings reflect what some reviewers have called Sicilian Rural Style, simple but elegant. The flooring has been realized with modica stone traditionally used in rural homes Sicily along with the Sicilian terracotta that was recovered during the renovation works in the same building. The ceilings are made from reeds and plaster or wood as they were before the renovation suggesting the ancient use of the premises.
