The agriturismo
This organic farm is set in the area of greatest protection of the Riserva Naturale Orientata Monte Cofano, in Custonaci, surrounded by centuries-old olive trees, carob trees and almond trees.
The accommodation
The estate is near the sea, at the foothills of Monte Cofano (659 m above sea level), overlooking the path that crosses the promontory. We renovated the residence (in 2014) from a portion of a baglio from the early 1800s, carried out with respect of local construction typology but with the use of bio-building materials to make the most of energy and water savings.
The flat has a double bedroom and a mezzanine with 4 beds, bathroom with shower and equipped kitchen.
The home is heated with a pellet oven, while the rooms have independent climate control. A shaded veranda is part of the common areas with outdoor furniture, a barbecue, an outdoor kitchen, a wood-fire oven and an outdoor shower .
