The agriturismo
The Bio Baumannhof is situated in the hamlet of Karnol at 910 m above sea level. We are approx. 2.5 km from the centre of St. Andrä. St. Andrä is a village close to the town of Brixen (Bressanone).
The diocesan town of Brixen can be easily reached from the farm in 10 minutes by car. Our farm is in a quiet location, surrounded by fields and forests, and the ideal base for both long and short hikes on the Plose mountain. We are 5 minutes by car from the “PLOSE” gondola valley station.
We are dairy farmers, and since January 2005 we have also offered farm holidays. Since summer 2008 we have also had two holiday apartments for our guests, who always feel at home here.
The accommodation
The “Martin” apartment is located on the top floor of our house and is suitable for 3 - 5 people. The holiday apartment consists of 1 room with a double bed and a single bed, a shower with WC and a very large kitchen-cum-diner with a pull-out double bed settee.
The kitchen is fully equipped with crockery, a coffee machine, dishwasher, electric ceramic hob, oven and fridge. Satellite TV connection. The apartment is 53 m2 and also has an 8 m2 balcony with a view that reaches far into the Eisack Valley. The second, 23 m2, room can also be rented if needed. It has a double bed and a pull-out double bed settee, and a shower with WC. We will be pleased to provide bed linen, bath and hand towels and tea towels.
“Roland” holiday apartment is on the first floor, is 38 m2, and ideal for 2-3 people. It consists of 1 room with a double bed, a shower with WC and a pleasant kitchen-cum-diner with a pull-out bed settee.
Activities and surrounding
In front of the house there is a large sandpit and two swings for the little ones. There are plenty of toys both large and small, such as the big tractor and trailer, and the fabulous digger for the bigger children.
The giant trampoline with safety net and the table football game are very popular with all the children. For the parents there is the lawn for relaxing below the house.
The bathing pond in nearby Lüsen is also great fun for the children.
