The agriturismo
Immersed in the quietness of nature, 18 km from the centre of Bolzano and 4 km from the village of Avigna, this farm is an alcove where you can recover your physical and mental wellbeing while enjoying relaxation and unforgettable excursions in the woods, on foot, on horseback or by bike.
An organic lake with a view of the Dolomites and a small pond where you can fish tasty trout are definitely unique attractions.
The accommodation
In the farmhouse there are 4 apartments for 2 to 6 people, some with garden; all are furnished in the typical style of the place and have dishes, coffee machine, mocha, kettle, toaster, oven, microwave.
Guests can enjoy well-kept common areas: terrace, organic swimming pond, trout fishing pond, various walking paths, satellite TV, Wi-Fi (limited), deck chairs, tables, garden, barbecue, laundry, sand stables, stable with animals, jumping net, foosball table, table tennis, bowling green, private chapel.
The Chiara apartment, made entirely of dolomite stone and wood, has a beautiful wooden roof with larch shingles; inside it is on two levels connected by an internal staircase: on the ground floor is the large and bright kitchen, on the first floor are located the bedrooms with two bathrooms with windows. The rooms overlook the valley below, rich in fruit trees and meadows with the lapping of the stream in the distance. From the kitchen you can access the terrace where you can have lunch, and on the front lawn, ideal for sunbathing or just chatting with friends.
The Panorama apartment is located on the top floor of the main house and consists of 3 bedrooms (one double, one twin and one small single) in addition to the bathroom with window and large living room kitchen. From the windows of the 2 largest bedrooms you can enjoy a beautiful view over the valley. Both terraces on the ground floor are equipped for outdoor dining.
The Matthi apartment, with wooden floor and exposed beams, is located in the attic floor of the house and consists of a double bedroom, bathroom with window and a living room kitchen: here an open bookcase separates the sleeping area with two singles, wardrobe and TV.
The apartment Dolomiten offers a kitchen and a room divided into dining area and sleeping area. Its modern furnishings combine the beauty of the dolomite stone with which some details are made (bed and windowsills) with the simple and clean lines of the glass and steel furniture. Exclusive use of the garden in front with lawn, from which you can enjoy the view of the Dolomites.
Activities and surrounding
From the farm depart numerous paths that cross landscapes of incomparable beauty, rich in mushrooms and berries, which in summer grow abundant.
The organic lake with a view of the Dolomites is suitable for swimming by adults and children: the absence of chlorine and the surrounding nature give a unique charm. Those who love horses can follow these beautiful animals in the meadows and choose one, groom it and saddle it for a few turns on the sand arena (32 m x 11 m).
Around the farm, there is a biotope to visit, a pond with trout, the stream of Avigna.
The whole family can have fun together on the toboggan; in Langfen and Tomanegger (both about 10 minutes drive from the farm), when it has snowed enough, a small toboggan run is prepared. The nearest ski areas are Merano 2000, about 50 minutes away by car, and Obereggen, about an hour away.
