The farmhouse is located in Castiglion Fiorentino, in the heart of Valdichiana, an amazing, peaceful and historical area of Tuscany, very close to the Etruscan city of Cortona. Lovely cities such as Florence, Arezzo, Perugia, Siena with the ancient villages of Montalcino and Pienza (where cheese and the best wines are made) are at a very short distance.
The accommodation
The company is located on top of a hill in the heart of the Valdichiana between places rich in history and enjoys an enviable panoramic view.
Its location facilitates daily excursions to the major cultural centers of Tuscany and Umbria such as Cortona, Arezzo, Perugia, Siena, Assisi, Florence, Lucignano, Montepulciano, Sansepolcro etc..
The Farmhouse has been built by renovating an old farmhouse and furnished with furniture in style and in respect of the ancient Tuscan characteristics. It is family-run and offers among its services two swimming pools with saline sterilization system, one for children with whirlpool and a large, availability of mountain biking, soccer field, volleyball, bowling and games room for children.
Agriturismo Lodolazzo also has 3 photovoltaic systems for the production of clean energy, as well as solar thermal for hot water.
