The agriturismo
Ancient medieval village, situated between Florence and Arezzo, belonged to the Bartolini Baldelli family since the seventeenth century. Erected on top of a hill at 450 mt. above sea level, it offers visitors a breathtaking view of the Arno valley full of olive trees, vineyards and woods. Place of absolute calm in which you can perceive and admire the harmony of nature combined with a friendly welcome and a careful attention to customer needs. The property has three apartments, two private houses and two large villas, reception, swimming pool, playground for children, private parking, roof garden, tasting room and a lounge, the old stables, which can accommodate up to 60 people ideal for meetings, conferences or small events, communions, weddings
The accommodation
Owned by Bartolini Baldelil's family for about four centuries, is a medieval village that has been only partially modified by the wear and tear of time.
Built on top of a hill near Pergine Valdarno, the castle dominates from its 450 m. around the upper Valdarno, offering a magnificent view of the Tuscan countryside, Pratomagno and the Chianti hills. Around the village, there are our olive groves from whose olives we produce an exquisite and well-known extra-virgin olive oil. Our farm hospitality is offered both in accommodations within the village (in 3 apartments and 2 small detached houses) and in two large villas ('Il Castellarino' and 'La Collina') not far from the Castle.
The visitor is able to perceive, and admire the harmony of the beautiful surroundings. Near the village, there are many olive trees that slowly leave room to the woodland, a predominant feature of the landscape. A place of tranquility where silence and privacy reign supreme, as it is inserted into a real agricultural estate, still anchored to the ancient local traditions and customs. Renowned throughout the territory for the beauty of the place, the castle is also well-known for the production of high quality extra virgin olive oil.
