The agriturismo
The historic villa standing on an estate owned by the aristocratic Florentine Marchiani family provided the perfect setting for a farm specialised in the production of I.G.P. extra virgin olive oil, D.O.C.G. Chianti wines and a range of organic fruit and vegetables.
The accommodation
In a hillside panoramic site on the flanks of the Prato Magno range in the centre of a triangle between Florence, Arezzo and Siena, the estate covers an area of around 20 hectares of luscious Tuscan countryside and Mediterranean maquis.
The estate buildings have been completely renovated respecting principles aimed at preserving their historic charm and rural beauty, transforming the noble dwellings and farmhouses into prestigious finely appointed rural apartments and turning the estate into an efficient modern farm that combines agricultural tradition with welcoming hospitality.
Activities and surrounding
Located in a strategic hillside location with views over the whole length of the Valdarno valley, the agriturismo is just two kilometres from the centre of the village of Reggello and within easy reach of all the mediaeval centres of Vallomrbrosa, Reggello San Giovanni, Figline Valdarno, Montevarchi and Castelfranco di Sopra.
Just 8 km from the A1 motorway providing fast access to Florence, Arezzo and Siena to combine a healthy and relaxing holiday with forays into the world of art, cultural events and nature walks.
