The agriturismo
Located 15 km from Arezzo, the farmhouse is located in the middle of a rustic complex and a farm, in the green landscape of the Tuscan countryside and in the heart of a valley at the foot of Pratomagno. Ideal starting point for excursions and visits to the most important cities of Tuscany or to visit the beautiful medieval villages rich in interesting historical finds of Etruscan origin. It offers accommodation in apartments of different types.
Poggio Primo is an old stone farmhouse, completely renovated in full respect of its original features. Entering the apartments and rooms you can feel the atmosphere and warmth of the old farmhouses.
The accommodation
The Agriturismo offers accommodation close to Arezzo, in the beautiful and quiet natural setting of the Tuscan hills. In this rustic country house you will find a seasonal outdoor pool and you can buy specialties of local origin.
The apartments include a cable TV and a well-equipped kitchen or kitchenette. Free Wi-Fi is available in public areas.
The large garden offers a variety of wooden gazebo, a barbecue and a play area for children's entertainment. There are also sports facilities for beach volleyball, football and bowls. In the immediate vicinity you will also find several bike paths and a small lake.
The farm stands at the foot of Mount Pratomagno and has a great production of olive oil, wine, cheese and honey. In the cellar of the farm you will have the opportunity to taste good wine.
Activities and surrounding
At 15 km from Arezzo, 50 from Florence and 60 from Siena, the agriturismo is the ideal starting point for excursions and visits to the most important cities of Tuscany, rich in art and history or to visit the beautiful medieval villages rich also in numerous and interesting historical finds of Etruscan origin (itineraries available at the agriturismo).
The tranquillity of the hilly area (380 m above sea level) and the enchanting view from the farmhouse offer unforgettable sunsets over a Tuscan landscape full of olive groves, vineyards and green wooded areas.
In the large surrounding panoramic garden there is a swimming pool (7m. x 14m.), characteristic wooden gazebos, comfortable barbecue areas and a large private parking lot.
Guests can also take advantage of a children's playground, a ping-pong table and a bowling green, as well as the possibility to take advantage of nature trails and paths through the typical Mediterranean scrub surrounding the farm, on horseback (riding stables 3 km away), on foot or even by mountain bike.
At 500 m. there is also a nice little lake for sport fishing.
