The agriturismo
Surrounded by the green hills of the Pierle Valley, at 500 metres above sea level and just 17 km from Cortona, the agriturismo enjoys a peaceful location overlooking the valley.The farmhouse has been fully renovated with complete respect for the rustic style, focusing on green energy and with great attention to detail.
The accommodation
Immersed in the green hills of the Val di Pierle, a few kilometers from the ancient Etruscan town of Cortona (about 16 km), the Rocca di Pierle Farmhouse is first of all an ideal place to find peace and quiet in contact with the rhythms of nature. The farmhouse - completely renovated in June 2004 (also respecting the strict anti-seismic regulations) in full respect of its rustic style, using only original materials from the area - overlooks a valley, the Val di Pierle, unspoilt and is kissed by the sun from dawn to dusk.
Thanks to the new fully equipped kitchen, in the common room called Cambusa, the holiday also becomes an opportunity to organize the "famous" cooking classes, using only the typical products of the area, such as Senatore Cappelli flour for homemade pasta, meats, cheeses and meat coming exclusively from the Val di Pierle.
