The accommodation
The farmhouse is a charming Tuscan nineteenth century villa in the town of Cortona (AR), surrounded by a large garden, with a pool and excellent facilities in historic apartments.
The building, by the regular forms, surrounded by a large garden and equipped with all modern facilities, was built in the mid-nineteenth century and preserves the shapes and original period furniture.
With the pool, they are available to the wide open spaces for guests recreation and relaxation as well as a common room where breakfast is served.
A boundary with the garden of the Villa guests can enjoy a nice restaurant just 200 mt. of distance.
The Azienda Agraria family mainly consists of vineyards and olive groves organically grown, which produce Chardonnay, Merlot and Trebbiano, a delicious Vin Santo, as well as an excellent extra virgin olive oil (EVO), sold on site.
At a distance of only eight kilometers, along a smooth paved road, you can reach Cortona, the tourist center of primary importance for its monuments and artistic masterpieces of Etruscan, Medieval and Renaissance.
The area is easy starting point, to 360 degrees, for cultural and tourist visits of great interest, both in Tuscany (Siena, Arezzo, Montepulciano, Pienza, San Sepolcro, Anghiari, Monteriggioni), both in Umbria (Assisi, Perugia, Spello , Gubbio, Spoleto).
Just 12 km there is also the Lake Trasimeno.
