The agriturismo
The Agriturismo occupies a recently renovated farmhouse in the typical Tuscan style. It is immersed in the hills of Florentine Chianti, in the municipality of Certaldo, the birthplace of Boccaccio, in the midst of vineyards and olive groves, from which you can enjoy an enchanting view of the ancient medieval village of Certaldo Alto and the famous Towers of San Gimignano.
The company offers the ideal opportunity to spend a relaxing holiday in the tranquility of our landscapes, in the art and culture of our villages and cities and among the flavors of our cuisine.
The landscape that surrounds you is very suggestive and relaxing, you can appreciate an atmosphere of other times.
The accommodation
The apartment has been recently renovated in pure Tuscan style, with terracotta floors and beamed ceilings, maintaining its original features.
It is located on the first floor with independent entrance and has a large living room for your moments of relaxation, a well-equipped kitchen and three bedrooms.
The three rooms, all air-conditioned, with private bathroom, satellite TV and free Wi-Fi, offer a panoramic view and are personalized in a musical key: DOUBLE VIOLINO ROOM; DOUBLE VIOLONCELLO ROOM; TRIPLE CONTRABLE ROOM.
Guests have access to a private outdoor area equipped with table, chairs and armchairs.
Activities and surrounding
We are in a panoramic position on the Tuscan hills, the art cities of Florence, Pisa and Siena are easily accessible with short trips by car and train, as well as the many medieval villages that surround us. You can make comfortable daily trips.
San Gimignano is 10 km away, Florence and Siena 40 km, Pisa 70 km. You can reach Volterra, Monteriggioni and you can also do a day at sea (80 km). The complex is about 2 km from the train station.
Certaldo Alto, the birthplace of Boccaccio, can be reached on foot, by car or by funicular. In Certaldo Alto you will feel like you have gone back in time, you will breathe the medieval atmosphere and you will enjoy a silence and tranquility now rare. The village offers important artistic and cultural events, such as the International Festival of Merchandise (July), the BOCCACCESCA (October) and the MEDIEVAL CENE IN STRADA.

Very welcoming host. Very Very Very Very welcoming host. Very comfortable accommodation . Good variety of choices for breakfast. Excellent a la cart menu for dinner. Centuries old, well renovated buildings in a very nice natural setting
