The agriturismo
Located 20 km from Florence and immersed in the typical Tuscan countryside dotted with olive groves and vineyards, this organic farmhouse dominated by a medieval tower offers the opportunity to spend a relaxing stay in a natural environment rich in culture and tradition.
The accommodation
The apartments for the guests - from two to eight people - are in the old houses built around the tower and one in the same tower. There are also two double bedrooms with bathroom for shorter stays.
The apartments are provided of sheets, bed clothes, towels (except only of sun towels), dish clothes and kitchen utensils.
All the apartments have open spaces provided with tables and chairs.
The organic certified farm is about 100 ha. and produces cereals, wine and a precious extra virgin olive oil - IGP Toscano.
The swimming-pool, the panoramic solarium, the woods and the lake afford the opportunity to relax in a natural environment, very far from the uproar of the modern cities. The view on the Arno Valley with on one side the Casentino mountains and on the other the first borders of Chianti is really wonderful.
Activities and surrounding
The organic farm extends for about 100 hectares and is characterized by olive, cereal and wine production. Particularly precious are the 2,200 olive trees that produce a renowned IGP Toscana extra virgin olive oil.
The swimming pool, the panoramic solarium, the woods and the lake offer the opportunity to relax in a natural and uncontaminated environment.
The swimming pool and the solarium with its spectacular view contribute to make your stay fun and relaxing.
At guests' disposal there are, in addition to large outdoor areas equipped with tables and chairs, also a barbeque area and a table tennis table.
The woods and the lake, where it is also possible to fish, offer the opportunity for pleasant walks.
Close to the nature reserve of Vallombrosa and the Chianti hills, the farmhouse is the ideal starting point to discover Tuscany with its enchanting countryside and its cities full of art and history.
In the immediate vicinity in the villages of Figline, San Giovanni, Montevarchi and Reggello, going from shop to shop, or even more so on market days, you can still savour the taste of life as it once was.
Don't miss the antiques fair in Arezzo on the first weekend of each month.
Finally, a few miles away. You can find the outlets of the most famous designers (Prada, Dolce&Gabbana, Gucci, Tod's, Loro Piana, Ferragamo, Zegna ...).
