The ancient 17th century estate situated on the lush Tuscan hills set against the backdrop of the spectacular Apennines, 35 kilometers from Florence and easily reached by way of quaint country roads or the fascinating age old railway line. The Agriresort is surrounded by a luxuriant park of age-old trees, which includes rare exemplars, in the middle of which we find a swimming pool with a breathtaking view of the valley below and furnished with comfortable and elegant wrought-iron beds.

In the Agriresort you can find a careful selection of Mugello and Tuscany wines. 

The complex of 17th century is composed by Villa Padronale (the family quarters) and just behind that the old Fattoria (Farmhouse building) used for hospitality, Fattoria has been renovated preserving the original structures and combining them with modern comforts: WiFi, LCD TV, heating, hairdryer , organic olive oil complimentary toiletries, mini bar. The interior has been treated in detail using ancient furniture from the Villa Padronale and other selected furniture in flea markets, great passion of the owner Caterina.

At Fattoria ground floor are located two huge Halls, le Tinaie (the fermenting room), where breakfast is served.

Climbing the sand stone steps you reach the first floor of the farm: where once there were the barns, there are now three apartments and a suite.

In the park, under cool of Lebanon cedars and redwoods, is located a half-timbered Cottage built in 1919 and since then called "Casina"; during the work of renovation was replaced the wooden floor  with old oak vats and made it an ideal place to spend a romantic and relaxing holiday

The property is located at 35 km from Florence in Mugello area (the place that gave birth to the Medici family) and Vicchio, the birthplace of Giotto, Cimabue and Beato Angelico. 

 The owners would be glad to welcome you and help you organize your day-to-day holiday; every morning at breakfast, Caterina will be at disposal to suggest places to visit and outdoor activities, such as horseback riding in the nature of the Apennines, the hunt for the white and black truffle during the suitable season or shopping outlet - The Mall (35 km) and McArthur Glen (25 km).

 Agriresort work in partnership with an equestrian center FISE where a professional guide guests to discover the hidden landscapes of Mugello. 

The Wellness Center has been set in the old Mill Farm; old millstones have been left visible to make the environment suggestive and unique. You will find Jacuzzi hydrotherapy whirlpool, Massage area, Sauna, Turkish bath, Sensorial Shower, relaxation area and herbal tea corner.

There will be proposed activities organized on the spot, as course of Tuscan cuisine, with the ultimate satisfaction to enjoy a dinner with the specialties prepared, or tasting of wine and extra virgin olive oil valuable products from farm; olive oil is made from 900 olive trees of different cultivars that surround the property, with olives harvested without the use of mechanical tools and transported to the mill in the day.

After agreeing on a menu, the chef will go shopping, buy wine and beverages, cook the dishes directly in your kitchen, serve, clear the table and finally clean up.
