The agriturismo
The lodgings of the farm have been obtained in ancient farmhouses, the houses of the "settlers": the farmers who worked on the farm until the middle of the last century. The houses have been restored respecting the taste of the Tuscan tradition: beamed ceilings and terracotta, terracotta floors, stone stairs, farmyards paved with old terracotta. The owners are responsible for the production of wines and extra virgin olive oil. For years, the company has pursued values such as sustainability, environmental impact and the ecological factor. It is also active in the field of renewable energy, a photovoltaic system has been installed.
The accommodation
Accommodations include kitchen with refrigerator, 4 burner stove and gas oven and are equipped with wall safe, wifi, single gas heater, air conditioning and TV. Large outdoor spaces equipped and private garden with parking. **Mirto apartment** has 4 bedrooms (one triple and 3 doubles), two bathrooms with shower, washing machine, a large living room with fireplace and dining table for 12 people. **Malva apartment** disposed on three floors, on the ground floor there is the kitchen with fireplace and dining area; on the second floor there is the double bedroom and bathroom with shower, and another double bedroom with bathroom on the second floor.**CApanna Nova apartment ** is a hayloft on 2 levels: on the ground floor living room with double sofabed and kitchen corner and washing machine , on the 1 st floor double bedfroom with bathroom with shower
Activities and surrounding
A few meters away is the 16X8 meters swimming pool equipped and with a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside, is open from May 10 to September 30. Fattorie Giannozzi are located in Marcialla, a village in Val d'Elsa, where in 1200 there was the Castle of Pogna, rebel feud of the Counts Alberti: in the grounds of the farm there is still a watchtower of the Castle, halfway between Florence and Siena, the area around Marcialla is ideal for visiting the two cities, the medieval villages such as San Gimignano and Monteriggioni and the breathtaking landscapes of Chianti and Valdelsa, rich in history and art, to discover the flavors of cooking and drinking.
We arrange lovely wine tastings with a view and visits to the cellars as we are wine producers.
