The agriturismo

The farm is located in the upper valley of Mugelloat about 1,000meters above sea level, on the border with Emilia Romagna. It spreads over 300 hectares, in the heart of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines, in naturalistic and landscape scenarios of great value.

 

Therestaurant specialises in traditional Tuscan dishes, game (the farm is also a hunting centre), meat and salami from the farm's Cinta Senese pig farm.

The accommodation

In a recently restored building, which together with the restaurant was part of the complex called "Incisa del Passeggere ", have been obtained 9 comfortable and bright rooms, 3 of which can be combined in an apartment with a large living room with kitchen and fireplace , very characteristic and rustic, ideal for a family of up to 9 people. The bedrooms, spacious and bright, are on the upper floor. The apartment also has two bathrooms, and is further separable into two double bedrooms and an area with a double and a single, leaving the living room and kitchen in common. Then there are two double bedrooms with shared bathroom ideal for couples of friends or couples with children, 2 double bedrooms and 2 single bedrooms with private bathroom.

 

The products of the company find space and are enhanced in the restaurant. Open to the public since May 2010, in a short time has built a good base of loyal customers and enthusiastic aboutquality home cooking that you can taste. The rural atmosphere is enhanced by the deer antlers used for the chandeliers, the solid walls with exposed stones, the solid and spartan furnishings and the lit fireplace.

The restaurant offers an à la carte menu with traditional Tuscan dishes, ancient flavours and recipes such as appetizers of schiacciatine (flat bread) and Cinta Senese cold cuts, first courses such as homemade Mugello tortelli or egg pasta with game sauces, main courses with side dishes such as roast suckling pig, fried farmyard chicken or stewed venison. The restaurant has ample space to organize parties, communions, confirmations and weddings, but also business meetings, small events and presentations.
