The agriturismo
The farm is located in the municipality of Gambassi Terme, 10 km from San Gimignano, in Tuscany, ideal place to spend your relaxing vacation. In a 1200 restored farmhouse with love we created our paradise for people who want to re-appropriating of its time, allowing himself a break away from the pace that daily life imposes. The company covers 37 hectares of which 5 are vineyards and 1 olive groves while the rest is woodland and arable land. It is a small company that focuses on the quality of its production, enhancing the peculiarity and the uniqueness of its product, a technically correct wine produced in large quantities will never give the emotions of a personal and unique wine, created by the interaction between narrow man and nature.
The accommodation
On the road from Gambassi to San Gimignano, 2 Km after il Castagno you see the sign of our farm. The stone house of 13th century has been renovated and divided into 4 apartments with indipendent entrance. Country style furnishings with terracotta flooring and exposed beams ceilings. Large fields, a small pond and several farmyard animals make this property ideal for families with children. Swimming pool and archery are at disposal. The farm has 37 Ha. of which 5 Ha. are wineyards 1 Ha olive-groves and 10 Ha.sawn grounds. Since 1985 we produce wine and oil, we follow the system of integrated agriculture, because the safeguard of the environment begins from more consciousness in agrarian production. This is a small winery, striving for highest quality wines while emphasizing the specialness and uniqueness of their products. Unlike massproduced wines made with mere technical correctness, the farm creates very special, personal wines, as a result of the connectivity of man to nature. The farm offers breakfast with organic local products, homemade cakes and bread. It also offers the opportunity to know the secrets of Tuscan cuisine through our cooking lessons.
Activities and surrounding
The farmhouse is located near the path of the Via Francigena and Via Salaiola where you can make beautiful excursions. We can arrange horseback rides with experienced staff that will make you fully enjoy the Tuscan landscape. You will also participate in the collection of wild herbs, cooking classes and other courses, organized by us.
