    "Great working lunch"

Franco and Gabriella are two special people, for two years in a row we were at their place for a company lunch and both times we were stupid both for the delicacy of the dishes and for the warm welcome. Actually we felt like family, thanks again!

"Podere Le Pialle is a really relaxing get a way!"

We spent 8 days in Podere Le Pialle and it was really great! Gabrielle and Franco are such nice people and they welcome you with open arms. They took really good care of our belly's :). Every day a super nice breakfast and a delicious 4 course meal. For our 1 year old son Gabriella cooked a pasta and zuchinni which he absolutely loved. We are one day at home now and we really miss them. We also got a italian cooking lesson from Gabriella which was great. Please note that the place is really quite and relaxed, which we loved but you do have to want that. (first supermarket/village is a 15 to 20 min drive).

    Warm regards,
    Eline, Remco & Moos

"Great food - dramatic, beautiful surroundings - calm and private - close to Florence"

Being here two nights was our best experience of the whole week we spent in Rome and Florence. The food Gabriella made was the most delicious food we had during our trip. And both me and my 17-year old daughter are vegetarians. It was like a five-star restaurant (but definetely bigger plates - be hungry!). Gabriella and Franco really made the effort to make us feel at home. As it's a small place it's very private and calming. We drove a day around to different, small villages in the rugged, hilly amazing countryside filled with vineyards and olive trees. Found even some original, rare jazz vinyl in the closest town. Make sure to bring back home some of Gabriella and Francos own olive oil.

Hi, my name is Franco and I am 50 years old.

Here I am with my wife, Gabriella

I have been doing this job for 13 years along with my wife.

We take care of: we cook for the guests, we take care of the crops, we rear the animals.

It was a desire to to pursue a passion which led me to run an agriturismo.

Our guests especially like the food.
