The agriturismo
This family-run farm is located in a small hamlet dating back to the 1200s in the commune of Greve in Chianti (3 km from the town centre), and produces an excellent extra virgin olive oil.
The buildings are built from alberese stone, with traditional terracotta roofs, and the whole complex has been renovated over the years with tasteful, simple style.
The accommodation
Both the Fienile apartment and the Concimaia room (with its disabled access bathroom) include private outdoor space with tables and chairs, surrounded by flowers.
The infinity style salt water swimming pool (6x12 m) overlooks beautiful scenery of vines, woodland, olive trees, the Chianti mountains, the stunning medieval hamlet of Montefioralle and the Apennines in the distance. There is also a whirlpool and a children’s section (60 cm deep).
In the large garden and around the pool you’ll find romantic corners, under pergolas of grapes and wisteria, the perfect spot to enjoy a glass of fine Chianti or, on summer evenings, admire the dance of the fireflies. You can also play ping pong in the shade of the trees or prepare delicious grilled meats on the barbecue.
