The accommodation
The farmhouse is hidden in the Tuscan hills at 450 meters above sea level on Mount Giovi in ??the Rufina area not far from Florence.
The farm has been completely restored maintaining the original features and has three double rooms with private bathroom and a bedroom with bathroom on the ground floor suitable for the disabled. There is central heating.
The barn has been converted into two townhouses with availability from 2 to 6 people and single heater.
The pool is the ideal place to relax and enjoy a breathtaking view.
The countryside and the surrounding woods are full of wild animals and the scenery has wonderful views, with the possibility of hiking or mountain biking, fishing in the lakes or horse riding in the woods.
On top of the hill there's a restaurant open for lunch and dinner, not far from the farm there is a pizzeria open on Saturdays and Sundays with a dance floor in the active summer season.
At the beginning of the road that leads to the farm there's a pizzeria with adjoining lake for sport fishing, open every evening.
A few kilometers away is Rufina, a town famous for having given its name to the Chianti wine of the same name, where there are several spots for dining and shopping.
To Rufina Station there is ample free parking and spend frequent trains that come and go from Florence in less than half an hour.
This place is ideal for those seeking peace and quiet and at the same time is interested in excursions and cultural visits in the city of Firenze or in other cities in Tuscany.
